Even More Furiousness

Take a look at this. No, the outrage isn't that a lesbian was spotted at Wal-Mart instead of Home Depot. All kidding aside, this is such bullshit. This woman gets kicked out of military for Don't Ask, Don't Tell, yet nobody in the military asked her and she didn't tell anybody. It sounds to me that this civilian or somebody else had it out for her for reasons that might not have been that she was a lesbian and was plotting to get her kicked out. And she brings up a total valid point about witnessing peers who have actually broken laws and committed adultery, yet only received slaps on the wrists. But she and thousands more get punished for being born a certain way? They are punished for something they could no more change than their eye color? More and more this becomes so much clearer a civil rights issue for us. A minority population is being punished for being born different. And with all the advances we've made, that we haven't conquered this is just ridiculous. 

I understand that Obama has his hands full with the economy and ending the wars, but DADT needs to end. It needs to end now. Not tomorrow. Not in a month. Not in a year. But now. The majority of Americans see no problem with ending this. So why are we still bending to the will of a few ass backwards, ignorant douche bags?
