I welcome their hatred

FDR knew how to deal with partisan obstructionism. They're making themselves irrelevant, so why keep offering out an olive branch? He gets points for the initial attempt at bipartisanship, but they've showed their hand. And that hand is all out war on the President and the Democrats. They're going to try to obstruct everything. Which might be okay in normal times, but we're in the middle of the greatest economic downturn since the Great Depression. It's disgusting that they're again putting party before country. That's all that matters to them. Thankfully the public gets this. One look at the poll numbers proves that. I say fuck'em. They want to be irrelevant, fine. Let'em be. And we'll go about to getting real shit done. Bring on universal healthcare!
